We are pleased to inform you that Federation of Indian
Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) is organising
Buyer Seller Meet (BSM) at Damascus and Amman from July
18 - 20, 2009.
The Buyer Seller Meet (BSM) at Damascus coincides with
the Damascus International Trade Fair, being organized
by Govt. of Syria. The delegation other than participating
at the Buyer Seller Meet (BSM) at Damascus, being organized
by FICCI's counterpart Chamber, would also have the
benefit of visiting the Damascus International trade
fair and conducting their own B2Bs on the spot. The
delegation shall later proceed to Jordan to participate
in the Buyer Seller Meet (BSM) at Amman, which is being
organized by Jordan chamber of Commerce.
The tentative itinerary for the visit of FICCI's Business
Delegation to Syria and Jordan is given below:
17th July: Arrival at Damascus
18th July: JBC+ Buyer Seller Meet (BSM)
19th July: Visit to Damascus International Trade Fair,
Departure from Damascus to Amman, Jordan
20th July: Seminar +BSM at Amman, Jordan, Departure
for Delhi

& Jordon: Multisectoral (Focus would be on the following
sectors):
Textile, Fertilisers, Cosmetics,
Information Technology, Electronics Products, Tea, Spices,
Coffee, Frozen Meat, iron & Steel, Cement, Pipes,
Organic & Inorganic Chemicals, Zinc, Copper, Rock
Phosphate, Mining, Leather, Pharmaceutical, Paper, Machinery,
Engineering Goods, Spare Parts, Rice, Jute, Pulses,
Raw Wool & Cotton, Rubber, Metal, Plastics etc.
In view of the business opportunities offered by Syria
& Jordon and your business interests in the region,
we invite you to participate in this delegation, which
we foresee will generate significant business opportunities.
In case you are preoccupied, you may please depute a
senior representative from your organisation for the
same.
To defray a part of the expenses such as printing of
who's who, communication expenses, etc. incurred in
connection with organising the visit, a delegation fee
of Rs. 35,000/- (Cheque/ DD in favor of "FICCI")
per person is being charged. The participants will have
to bear their travel and accommodation expenses. The
last date of the registration is June 26, 2009.
