FICCI Business Delegation to France
September 29 - October 3rd, 2008

We are delighted to inform you that Hon'ble Minister for Commerce and Industry, Shri Kamal Nath is expected to lead an India business delegation to France organised by FICCI to participate in the 9th India-EU Business Summit and France-India Business Forum in Sep-Oct 2008.

The itinerary of the delegation is proposed as follows:

29th Sep 2008 (Mon) Delegation arrives in Paris
30th Sep 2008 (Tue) 9th India-EU Business Summit in Paris*(addressed by: Indian PM, French President, key ministers including Mr Kamal Nath)
1st Oct 2008 (Wed) France-India Business Forum followed by B2B meettings Paris
2nd Oct 2008 (Thu) Visit to Lyon (Seminar & B2B meetings)

*This is an opportunity to network with business leaders and policy makers from India and EU. Delegates not wishing to participate in this event may arrive in Paris on 30th September.

The purpose of the visit will be:

  • To participate in the Frace-India Business Forum and other seimnars
  • To identify opportunities for Commercial Representation of Indian goods ro services in France and vice versa
  • To acquire French technologies-technology transfer or JVs
  • To explore investment opportunities in France and vice versa
  • To utilise networking opportunity with CEOs of French companies interested in doing business with India
