India-Scotland Business Forum, Edinburgh
June, 2008
As part of FICCIs endeavour to decentralize cooperation,
catalyse regional synergies and discover high yielding avenues
of engagement between India and UK, we are organizing a business
delegation to Scotland in June 2008, in association with Scottish
Development International the official regional development
agency of Scotland.
Hon Minister for Commerce and Industry, Shri Kamal Nath has
been invited to address the forum.
The objective of the visit is to explore and leverage potential
synergies with Scotland as a strategic business partner.
The delegation will participate in the India-Scotland Business
Forum on 12 June 2008. The participation on the Scottish side
is expected to comprise key policy decision makers and the
crème de la crème of industry.
The delegation will also participate in seminars on sectors
of crucial significance and one-to-one business meetings.
Visits to Centres of Excellence, local sightseeing, cultural
events and networking opportunities will complete and complement
the business component and make the mission a holistic experience.
FICCI invites you to consider joining us for a Conference
on Globalisation & Developing Economies - Concerns of
Inclusion, which is jointly organized by FICCI and Oxford
University, under the direct supervision of Chancellor Lord
Chris Patten, on June 16th at Oxford. This will be addressed
by thought leaders, eminent academics and top CEOs from India
and UK.

other logistics in UK) from every mission member. The payment
